I to have a new appreciation for tulips after living in Istanbul, where they plant 5 million more of them every year in an effort to reclaim the flowers origin as Turkish. The sultans gave a few away to the dutch as a present and...well, the rest is history!
It's hard to imagine that there was a time I didn't care for this kind of tulip. Tastes change.
