Charles Church, Plymouth

Plymouth
Saturday May 19, 2012

Bombed/burned out in WWII, the ruins of Charles Church remain as a memorial in downtown Plymouth, right by Drake Circus Shopping Centre. Sitting in the middle of a traffic circle, it is probably not meant to be visited. I dodged the traffic to get inside but, once there, found it rather spooky so didn't stay long.

My g-g-grandfather, Thomas Stevens, was baptised in this church in 1800.
