There are all kinds of attractions and activities at Longleat, which, I suppose, make for fun outings for families.
The Maze
But the maze is outstanding - the best one I've ever been in. It covers about an acre and half and consists of more than 16,000 English Yews.
Thank goodness there are lookouts, not that they're always easy to get to from within the maze.
And if you get really lost, eventually you'll come to one of these signs.
